Andrea and Denis celebrated their stunning fall wedding in the heart of the Adirondacks at the iconic Lake Placid Olympic Center. From their joyful first look to a packed dance floor and a starry night sky, their day was filled with beauty, love, and a few unexpected surprises.
We began the day with portraits around Mirror Lake, taking full advantage of the golden autumn foliage and scenic mountain views. Andrea’s cathedral-length veil floated in the breeze as the two shared a quiet moment on the dock. We even wandered through downtown Lake Placid, where Andrea and Denis turned heads in their wedding attire crossing Main Street and visiting Little Blue House.
Their ceremony and reception took place at the Olympic Center’s rustic lodge-style venue, where wood beams and warm lighting created an inviting atmosphere. The couple’s choreographed first dance kicked off an unforgettable celebration, complete with cold spark fountains, heartfelt toasts, and a packed dance floor.
One of the most memorable moments came after sunset when we snuck away for night portraits under the stars — and were greeted by a full moon rising behind them. It was magical.
